Training

Johnetta Heil, owner and weaver, has been weaving for a number of years. Advanced classes were taken at “The Manning’s Hand Weaving School” East Berlin, Pa. Under the direction of Tom Knisley. Johnetta has taken seminars and classes under nationally known weaving instructors such as Madelyn van der Hoogt, Nancy Harvey, Ruth Anne Miller, Laura Fry.

Not only has she won numerous awards for her weaving but she has also exhibited her works at the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History. She is currently teaching at various locations around North Carolina and Virginia

Johnetta is a member of:

The Weaving Cyber Guild
The WeaveTech Cyber Guild
And Southeastern Rep. for the Complex Weavers Guild which she is also a Member.

Johnetta is currently working on obtaining her Master Weaver certificate as well as her Masters in Studio Art
