All our rya kits are individually handmade. The rya backing is specially woven on a floor loom. Each of the rya yarns is hand-dyed specifically for the individual kit, making each rug unique. Because the yarns are hand-dyed, colours may not be exactly as shown. With hand-dyeing, there will be some colour variation in the yarns, creating interesting colour and blend effects to your rya. As the yarns are dyed at the time of the order, for some designs you may select a different colour for the background. The Rya Rugs can be ordered in either kit form or woven. Please enquire for pricing of completed rugs. |
| PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE MOVED TO A SMALLER STUDIO WHERE I DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT SPACE TO DYE A LARGE QUANTITY OF YARNS. THEREFORE THE RUG KITS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. I WILL HOWEVER BE MAKING SOME RYA BACKING PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON OR LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PLACING AN ORDER. |

I use a pure wool yarn and hand-dye all my colours. Depending on the size of the piece, please allow 2 -4 months for completion of your order, depending on yarn availability, and production scheduling. All products are Custom orders and require a 50% non-refundable deposit. This covers the cost of the yarns. |
