Pure Linen Sauna Towel These handwoven Finnish style Sauna towels are made from linen yarns imported from Finland. Flax one of the Bast fibres, has been used for towels for many centuries. Because Linen (flax) is spun from the inner core of the flax plant, it is able to absorb water, even from the air. On dry days, linen can feel a bit rough , but on more humid days, linen becomes soft and smooth to the touch. Linen towels improve with age. The sauna towels can be machine washed and ironed while damp. Linen doesn't like heat so machine drying is not recommended. Warp: 100% pure linen in varied stripes of natural and bleached linen.
