Pure Linen Sauna Towel |

These handwoven Finnish style Sauna towels are made from linen yarns imported from Finland and Sweden. Flax one of the Bast fibres, has been used for towels for many centuries. Because Linen (flax) is spun from the inner core of the flax plant, it is able to absorb water, even from the air. On dry days, linen can feel a bit rough , but on more humid days, linen becomes soft and smooth to the touch. Linen towels improve with age. The sauna towels can be machine washed and ironed while damp. When you first get the towel wash it in fairly hot water (60 degrees) This will help to soften the fibre. For future washing, use a cooler temperature. Linen doesn't like a lot of heat so machine drying is not recommended. |
